Bhagat Singh
Attempts by  torch bearers of saffron brigade to link Bhagat Singh and his comrades’ execution with Valentine’s Day. Section 11 of Ordinance No. III of 1930 under which they were tried by the Special Tribunal and awarded death sentence on Oct 7, 1930 specifically prohibited any appeal to the High Court. The only recourse was to petition the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in London, which they did. This petition was heard on Feb 11, 1931 by a Board and was dismissed the same day. The judgment was delivered by Viscount Dunedin on Feb 27, 1931. So, Bhagat Singh and his Comrades’ appeal did happen in February, but Feb 14 does not have any relevance. Bhagat Singh did not file any other appeal.
