TODAY IS NATIONAL DAY OF QUALITY CONTROL IN CANCER CARE;
Impact of Cancer and its eradication in India

Cancer, experts say, is likely to emerge as the largest killer in India by 2020 if present trend continues .It is estimated that there are approximately 2-2.5 million cases of cancer in the country at any given time. Data from population-based registries under National Cancer Registry Programme indicate that the vulnerable sites of cancer are oral cavity, lungs, esophagus and stomach amongst men and cervix, breast and oral cavity amongst women. World Health Organization (WHO) has estimated that 91 per cent of oral cancers in South-East Asia are directly attributable to the use of tobacco and this is the leading cause of oral cavity and lung cancer in India .
The cancer statistics demonstrate that cancers frequently observed in India are lifestyle dependent, low literacy rates with offending factors such as tobacco usage, low socio-economic status, and multiple pregnancies and poor sexual hygiene . These factors are closely related to the population living in rural surroundings and they are the targets for cancer prevention. It is evident that most common cancers are largely preventable. But, it is very difficult for these patients to achieve a cure and they are always treated by palliative care with much cost and morbidity. The facilities for creating cancer awareness, screening, diagnosis, treatment i.e., multidisciplinary approach, radiation treatment facilities, availability of cancer chemotherapeutic agents, palliative care facilities are not sufficient enough to meet the need of cancer afflicted patients.

The following tribulations to be addressed;

Lack of information about prevention and other matters to general public; Lack of facility for Early Cancer Detection at rural areas and also long travel for the Patient and by-standers to attend follow-up clinics.
Non-availability of expert opinion at nodal centers and rural areas and non-availability of certain diagnostic equipment's at nodal centers.
Difficulty for oncologists and other doctors to keep up with the latest knowledge in cancer care and difficulty in updating the National Cancer Registry in time.

WEALTHY 'GODS';POOR FOLLOWERS !
"The rich man at his castle,the poor man at his gate.god made them high or lowly and ordered their estate."[Cecil Frances Alexander].
Money,gold,silver and land which are meant for productive purposes and wider usage of the economy are unwisely kept and wasted in temples and in religious ceremonies. The 'god' and temples have become storage places of black money which is against scientific principles of any school of economic thought.No body knows the real worth of gold,silver,diamond and property in Triputi temples and other major worship places of India.It requires genuine and sincere initiative on part of state to probe and ascertain the quantity and value of such unaccounted wealth.And then these precious metals and money pouring in the Hundies of temples are deliberately kept dormant and kept out of circulation.As per one study,following are the most richest temples of the country :-
1. Sree Padmanabha Swamy: This temple has recently overtaken the famous Tirupati Balaji temple that held the title of the richest temple till now. The Sree Padmanabha Swamy temple is one of the main attractions in the city of Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. In 2011, a hidden treasure worth 1,00,000 crore was discovered in underground crypts. This treasure included a sack full of real diamonds! Apart from this hidden wealth, the total worth of antiques used to decorate the Sree Padmanabha Swamy temple in itself must be astronomical. 2. Tirupati Temple: Before the Sree Padmanabha Swamy temple made headlines, the 'wish fulfilling' Balaji temple in Tirumala was considered to be the richest temple in this country. There is a mythical story that Lord Balaji who resides in the Tirupati temple incurred a huge loan from the treasurer of the Gods, Kuber to sponsor his wedding. Apparently he is still paying the debt and thus, donations from devotees in cash or kind are welcome. It also helps to have famous patrons like Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Ambani. 3. Shirdi Sai Baba Temple: It is ironic that a temple devoted to the biggest advocate of poverty is the third most richest temple in India. Sai Baba was a 'fakir' or an asetic who undertook begging as a mode of livelihood. But his idol is now adorned with jewellery worth 32 crores. As it is not known which religious faith Sai Baba belonged, people from all religions flock to this temple. 4. Siddhivinayak Temple: Mumbai is full of Bollywood stars but the king of them all is Ganesha himself. This Ganesh (Vinayak) temple looks and feels like a important government building from outside. There are severe security checks in place that makes it look like a military posting. The exact earning of this temple are undeclared but from the hoard of known names like Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit etc. on its devotee list, we can surely know why it is one of the richest temples in India. 5. Golden Temple: When the name itself reflects wealth, what could be in store? Amritsar in Punjab is famous for the Golden temple which was actually called Harmindher Sahib Gurudwara. The term 'golden' was added when the Gurudwara was adorned with intricate works of gold and silver. The gold work came along with the solid gold canopy sheltering the Adi Granth in the sanctum sanctorium.

WHY 'GODS' ARE STILL ALIVE ?
“The hardest thing of all is to find a black cat in a dark room, especially if there is no cat.”
― Confucius.
Had 'god' created men,there would have been no disparity amongst his various creations.Normally parents provide equal education,opportunities,wealth etc to all their children.Why did not 'god',being the supreme parent of mankind,distribute health,wealth,beauty etc equally amongst his children ?Why are only some people healthy,while others are sick ?Why are only few people rich and the vast majority poor ?Why are only a few people happy?Why do many people suffer an early death?There are people who cannot earn their own bread. In contrast there are those who have collected resources enough for millions. How can one conceive that the same 'god' made both Bill Gates and the poor masses living miserably in slums ?
Human suffering challenges the very existence of a creator.Had there been a kind,just and loving power to create and govern mankind,there would have been no place for inequality,exploitation,disease and injustice in the world. Surprisingly,mankind faced and still continues to face a number of miseries. Nevertheless,they still believe their 'gods' to be almighty,kind and helpful...Ancient scriptures deferred the scientific progress of mankind.

HINDU MYTH AND SUPERSTITION ABOUT ECLIPSE;
Thousands of years of mythology

Hindu mythology blames eclipses on the demon Rahu – who is variously depicted as a snake or a dragon or a disembodied head – who swallows the sun. (The one common thread of depictions of Rahu is that they’re all scary whether here, here or here). But many Indians take their superstition to extremes, with some doctors willing to help expectant parents even delay labor to avoid birth on such a day.

To be sure, India's critics of superstition, rationalists, have also been out in force in the nation's press in recent days. Amit Bhattacharya, writing in the Times of India, chides his countrymen for turning a glimpse at "the beauty that awaits us in the universe" into a day of fear.

"It’s fear that drives us to fast during an eclipse lest the mal-influence of the sunless period is ingested with the food. It’s fear again that prompts thousands of expectant Indian mothers, and fathers, to make use of medical science techniques to ensure they don’t give birth on the ‘inauspicious’ day of the eclipse,'' he writes.

"Three thousand years of lived tradition. A spiritual heritage that’s the envy of the world. One would have thought such wisdom would enable us to assimilate and imbibe modern knowledge in a more holistic manner... instead, we spread fear. If Shani doesn’t get you, Rahu must."

VALID MEANINGFUL QUESTION;
Kn Ramachandran
Who is behind the Bangalore Blast near BJP Office?
On 17th April when the submission of nomination papers for the Karnataka state assembly elections was going to be completed, a low intensity bomb explosion took place near the Malleswaram office of the BJP, the ruling party. Lot of speculation is created and as in the case of the Hyderabad blasts on 21st February the Indian Mujahideen like forces are targeted. In the case of Hyderabad blasts even after two months the Central Investigation Team or the state intelligence has come out with any proof to link it to any Muslim outfits. As we had pointed out soon after the blasts took place, it is the UPA government and the Sangh Parivar are beneficiaries of these. So our charge that either RAW or the Sangh Parivar terror squads are behind these is proved nearer to truth.
Almost same is the case with regard to present Bangalore blast also. The difference is that in this case it is only the BJP which is facing a rout in the elctions is benefitted by it. None else will try to do such a thing which will help onlly BJP which is proved corrupt and communal and isolated from the masses. Using it as a cover BJP is trying to whip up hate campaign against the minorities who were targeted for numerous attacks during its five tears’ rule, and to try to win as many seats as possible by spreading Hindutua communal frenzy as it always indulges in.
CPI (ML) demands that the CIT and all central agencies should bring out the truth behind this blast so that BJP is not allowed to escape like it was allowed to escape from numerous heinous communal acts in the past like the demolition of Babri Masjid, 2002 Gujarat massacres, and Malegaon like terror attacks. The record of nine years of UPA rule at centre shows that in spite of clear proofs it is not ready to take action against communal fascist BJP and RSS terror squads. In this way Congress is allowing the Sangh Parivar to escape, exposing its own communal appeasement policies.
CPI(ML) appeals to all the secular democratic forces to expose the communal fascist games of BJP and Sangh Parivar behind it, and the communal appeasement policies of the Congress and such other psuedo- secular parties, and to raise their voice for arresting those who are actually behid the Bangalore blasts instead of spreading rumours against the minorities which ultimately benefit the BJP.
REVIVAL AND REDISCOVERY OF ANCIENT RELIGIOUS CULTS IN 21ST CENTURY;
'THE ENDURING APPEAL OF SHIVA LIES IN THE POWER AND EROTICISM THAT HE EMBODIES;
Shiva has always been hot,but i must confess that i was surprised-pleasantly surprised -to learn that he is now also cool,at least among young people in India.And not just cool,but chic,fashionable.Young people of both sexes are wearing rudrakshas as accessories,dancing to Shiva music ,indulging in Shiva tattoos,reading Shiva fiction.Some of them,it is rumoured,are even consuming bhang,as Shiva does.Where will all this end.Will the bright things in their rudrakshas also starting wearing freshly bloody elephant skins and use live snakes to hold up their jeans.Will they stop combing their hair,or wear dreadlocks.The mind does boggle.'

RAMANAVAMI TODAY;
THE TRAGEDY OF SEETA AND AHALYA;
In Kamban’s version, Viswamitra arrives at the walls of Mithila with the young Rama, after their adventure with Tadaka, the rakshasi. The dust of Rama’s feet settles on the black rock that was once Ahalya who, brought back to life, falls at Rama’s feet and worships him. After this has happened, Viswamitra tells the back story of the curse that turned her into stone. God Indra, having fallen in love with the beautiful Ahalya, wife of Gotaman the sage, sneaks into the hermitage in Gotaman’s absence, disguised as him, and sleeps with Ahalya. However, Gotaman returns, and curses both Indra, who is instantly covered in a thousand vagina's, and Ahalya who turns into stone. Just before Ahalya is petrified into stone, in answer to her plea that he should set a limit to the curse, he declares that the dust of Rama’s feet will one day set her free. The immortals, meanwhile, plead on behalf of Indra, and Gotaman changes the marks all over him into a thousand eyes.

.

Clearly, one of the major changes we notice in Kamban’s retelling, when compared with Valmiki is the content of Gotaman’s curse. In Valmiki Ahalya is condemned to eat no food but air, and to lie on burning ashes, invisible to all men. In Kamban she is turned into stone, and the possibility of her deliverance from his curse is conceded by Gotaman after her desperate plea.
Leaving aside different versions,it is beyond any logic or comprehension that if Ahalya could be purified by mere touch of Rama's feet,why Seeta could not attain that purity status by the constant touch of her husband Rama.It will be pertinent to mention here that,with the death of Ravana,there was an end to the sorrows of Rama and there should have been an end to the sorrows of Seeta as well.Rama,against all evidence,suspected the chastity of his wife during the captivity and banished her after having made her pregnant.Ultimately Seeta put an end to her sorrows by burying herself alive.Seeta is the personification of man's injustice to women in this country through ages.

MYTHOLOGICAL BACKGROUND OF RAM NAVAMI;
'WONDERFUL PANACEA'-DIVINE PUDDING [KHEER/PYASAM].
In the epic Ramayana, Dasharatha, the Emperor from Ayodhya, had three wives named Kausalya, Sumitra and Kaikeyi in the Treta Yuga, which follows the Satya Yuga and is succeeded by Dwapara Yuga. Their greatest worry was that they had no children, and so they had no heir to the throne in the Ikshvaku Kula or royal lineage of great, pious, wonderful Emperors. Rishi Vasistha suggests him to perform Puthra Kamesti Yagna, through which he can have a desired child. He also tells him to invite Maharshi Rishyasringa to perform this yagna for him. Emperor Dasharatha consents and heads to Maharshi Rishyasringa's ashram, to invite him. Maharshi agrees and accompanies Emperor Dasharatha to Ayodhya (Capital of Avadha) and performs the yagna. As the result of this yagna, Yagneshwara appears and provides Dasharatha a bowl of divine pudding (Kheer/Payasam) and requests him to give it to his wives. Dasharatha gives one half of the payasam to his elder wife Kausalya, and another half to his younger wife Kaikeyi. They both give half of their portions to Sumitra. After few days all three Queens conceive. On the ninth day (Navami) of Chaithra Masa (last month in Vedic calendar), at noon Kausalya gives birth to Rama, Kaikeyi gives birth to Bharata, and Sumitra to twin boys, Lakshmana and Shatrughna.
One more classical example of ancient 'divine science/wisdom' unmatched even today.

(२) अद्द्यागने............................पसा:||
(अथर्व वेद ४-४-६)
अर्थ: हे अग्नि देव, हे सविता, हे सरस्वती देवी, तुम इस आदमी के लिंग को इस तरह तान दो जैसे धनुष की डोरी तनी रहती है

(३) अश्वस्या............................तनुवशिन ||

POLITICAL KICHIDI;
NARENDRA MODI AS CONGRESS LEADER AND SUSHIL SHINDE AS BJP LEADER !
If Narendra Modi were in Congress:

The annual investors summit would be called ‘The Rajeev Gandhi Vibrant Gujarat Summit’
He would be considered genuinely secular after giving the ‘India First’ speech
Modi would have credited Rahul Gandhi for giving him the idea of Google Hang Outs and mentioned that it was Rajiv Gandhi who first brought Computers to the country
Sagarika Ghose would have lovingly called him ‘the Orange Man’ and Barkha Dutt would have made a special documentary on the progress and development in Gujarat, with no mention of Gujarat Muslims
Narendra Modi’s PM chances would be rated based on the depth of appreciation he showered on ‘The Family’
BJP would still be struggling to finalize the PM candidate with Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and LK Advani vying for the post
Nitish Kumar would be as relevant to the national media as the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh
Twitter would be not half as interesting as it is with most people logging in on Friday evenings to check which movies suck
Gujarat model would have meant only Amisha Patel and Urvashi Dholakiya
If Sushil Kumar Shinde were in BJP:

He would have appeared on Sagarika’s ‘Face the Nation’ at 10 pm after the hanging of Afzal Guru. This episode would grab the most comical entertainment show of the year award
BJP would be considered an anti-women party after he taunted Jaya Bachchan by saying, “ye fillim ka matter nahi hai sister”
Media would have questioned his Maharashtra roots as crucial for becoming Home Minister since the RSS is headquartered in Nagpur
He would have spilled the names of all the Prime Ministerial candidates in BJP during Question Hour in Parliament
He would have come under widespread criticism for his ‘green terror’ remark and Congress would have asked him to render an unconditional apology
Apropos of Yeddy’s corruption allegations, he would have said, “Like Bangaru Laxman, people shall also forget Yeddyurappa’s scams.”
He would have referred to Jinnah as Shree Jinnah ji, drawing flak from his own party
He would have announced that a decision on whether BJP should go with Ram Mandir issue would be finalized in a month and then retract his own statement
He would have informed Nitin Gadkari of CBI and sundry income tax raids through speed post

NAVRATRA'S COMMENCING WEF 11TH APRIL ;
MYTHOLOGICAL MYTH ABOUT CELEBRATION OF NAVRATRA'S !
According to Hindu mythology, a demon named Mahishasura, earned the favour of Lord Shiva after a long and hard penance. Lord Shiva, impressed with his devotion, gave him a boon stating that no man or deity would be able to kill him but a woman can kill him.

Mahishasura was very pleased with this boon as he thought that no woman in the three worlds could match his might. Arrogant Mahishasura started his reign of terror over the universe and many people, Gandharvas and Kinnars were killed mercilessly. He had conquered earth, and set his eyes upon Indraloka, the abode of the Gods.

The Defeat of Gods

Mahishasur and his army invaded Indraloka. After defeating the King of Gods, Indra, he drove all the devas (Gods) out of heaven. After their defeat and humiliation at the hands of Mahishasur, the Gods took refuge under Lord Brahma.

Brahma took them to Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva was in deep meditation and was totally oblivious to the happenings of the material world. The only solution to end the rule of demon King Mahishasur, was to create a woman who possessed the ultimate power to fight and defeat the unconquerable Mahishasura.

On hearing the atrocities of the demon, Lord Vishnu was furious and a brilliant and powerful energy came out of his being. Lord Shiva also came out of his meditation and angrily opened his third eye, from which came out a strong light, which merged with the already existing light of Vishnu. Brahma and other gods also put in their spiritual powers to the energy, which took the form of a female deity, who was radiant and extremely beautiful.

Culmination of Energies

Her face reflected the light of Shiva, her ten arms were from the light of Lord Vishnu, her feet were from the light of Lord Brahma, the tresses were formed from the light of Yama, the God of death and the two breasts were formed from the light of Somanath, the Moon God, the waist from the light of Indra, the King of Gods, the legs and thighs from the light of Varun, the God of Sea and hips from the light of Bhoodev (Earth), the toes from the light of Surya (Sun God), fingers of the hand from the light of the Vasus, the children of Goddess River Ganga and nose from the light of Kuber, the keeper of wealth for the Gods.

The teeth were formed from the light of Prajapati, the lord of creatures; the Triad of her eyes was born from the light of Agni, the Fire God, the eyebrows from the two Sandhyas, ie, sunrise and sunset, the ears from the light of Vayu, the God of Wind. As she was made from the female energies of devas and demigods, she was aptly named Shakti. The name Durga was given to her after she had killed a demon named Durg.

Power of Weapons

Goddess Durga possessed the unique individual powers of ten deities, which were symbolised by her ten arms, each of which held different weapons gifted to her by the Gods, like Indra’s Vajra, Shiva’s Trishul, Vishnu’s Sudarshan chakra, Varun’s conch, Agni’s spear, Vasuki`s snake.

From Yama, she received an iron rod, a sword and shield. Vishwakarma (God of Architecture) gave her an axe and armor. The God of Mountains, Himavat gifted her with jewels and a lion to ride on. Durga was also given many other precious and magical gifts, new clothing, and a garland of immortal lotuses.

The beautiful Durga, bedecked in jewels and golden armor and equipped with the fearsome weaponry of Gods, was ready to engage in battle with the fierce and cruel Mahishasura. When Mahishasura heard of Durga`s beauty, he wished to marry her and sent across a proposal.

The Goddess replied that she would marry him on the condition that he defeats her in a battle first. Mahishasura and his demon allies found their attention drawn from heaven to Earth.

The Battlefield

As Mahishasura`s armies were struck down effortlessly by Durga, it became obvious to him that heaven could not shield him from the Goddess’ wrath. No demon could fight her and win. Her breath would replenish her armies - bringing back to life all of her soldiers who fell. The demons were in chaos and were easily defeated and captured.

Mahishasura was enraged yet shocked by the disastrous events on the battlefield. He took on the form of a demonic buffalo and charged at the divine soldiers of Durga, killing many and lashing out with his whip-like tail. Durga`s lion pounced on the demon-buffalo and engaged him in a battle. While he was thus engaged, Durga threw her noose around his neck.

Mahishasura then assumed the form of a lion and when Durga beheaded the lion, Mahishasura escaped in the form of a man who was immediately face to face with a volley of arrows from Durga. The demon escaped yet again and then having assumed the form of a huge elephant, battered Durga`s lion with a tusk. With her sword Durga hacked the tusk into pieces.

The Victory

The demon reverted once more to the form of the wild buffalo. He hid himself in the mountains from where he hurled boulders at Durga with his horns. Durga drank the divine nectar, the gift of Kuber. She then pounced on Mahishasura, pushing him to the ground with her left leg.

She grasped his head in one hand, pierced him with her sharp trident held in another, and with yet another of her ten hands she wielded her bright sword, beheading him. At last he fell dead, and the scattered surviving remnants of his once invincible army fled in terror. Thus she came to be called as Mahishasuramardini.

The battle had gone on for nine days and nights and at last, resulted in the beheading of Mahishasura on the tenth. The nine nights became renowned as Navratri, while the tenth day was called Vijaya Dashami, the tenth day that brought the triumph of good over the evil.

MYTH AND REALITY ABOUT NARENDRA MODI;
BEING PROJECTED AS THE ONLY INDIAN PERFECT PAR EXCELLENCE HAVING 'PANACEA REMEDY' !
Amidst the media frenzy and hi-pitched campaigns that are being run to convince the voters about the suitability of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as the next prime minister of India, the alternatives have been reduced into a Hobson’s choice, at least in the mainstream media. The same campaign is trying to create an impression about Mr. Modi as the vanguard of development politics and inclusive growth among the electorates. A cock and bull story is being told and re-told about Gujarat and Mr. Modi which reminds me of something from the Second World War propaganda texts. It goes like this, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it”.

Narendra Modi has built a personality cult around him and used every trick in the book to mesmerize people like the pied piper of Hamlin. The Supreme Court on two different occasions shared its annoyance and observations on the riot cases that it had been hearing. I will be sharing here two such observations. Lambasting the Gujarat government for its laxity in bringing the guilty to book, the apex court said, “The modern day Nero’s were looking elsewhere when Best Bakery and innocent children and helpless women were burning, and were probably deliberating how the perpetrators of the crime can be protected[1]." This was in April 2004. A full two years after the riots took place. The riots helped Mr. Modi polarise the electorate of the state and consolidate his position further in the state politics. A year before that the apex court observed that, “The Supreme Court's pronouncements last Friday – including its unsparing admonishment of Narendra Modi, its description of his government’s appeal as an “eyewash”, and its declaration that “we have no faith in Gujarat’s prosecution or government” is enough to give a glimpse of what this Man called Narendra Modi has to offer to the people of this country.

SAUDI MEN BUYING SYRIAN REFUGEE CHILDREN AS BRIDES AND PROSTITUTES !
Everyone's heard about the fighting in the Syrian civil war, but there have been too few stories about how the Syrian civil war has affected the women and children left behind by the men who have gone off to fight. Sadly, the impact has been pretty awful because so many have too few resources to survive. The one resource is their children - specifically, their girls. The younger the better, too, because they are fetching a good price on the Muslim bride market.

Old Saudi men, residents of one of the world's most religious nations, are among the most eager shoppers for the youngest Syrian girls. They can afford to buy multiple girls and that's legal because Islam allows for multiple wives.

Some girls are bought and sold multiple times because these patriarchs of Islamic piety only need a child bride for a few weeks. Then the girl, possibly just barely out of her teens, can be returned and sold off by her family again -- though presumably at a reduced price now. Islam doesn't permit the charging of interest, but I suppose it permits standard depreciation rates for used female bodies.

"My daughter is willing to sacrifice herself for her family," Nezar says. "If the war had not happened I would not marry my daughter to a Saudi. But the Syrians here are poor and have no money."

Nezar's daughter is 17. The Saudi groom is 70. ...

She admits the marriage market is hazardous. Most of the potential grooms offer a few dollars to leer at her daughter. "You are already selling your daughter, you might as well sell her to someone decent," she says. ...

The surplus of desperate Syrian refugees means marriage has become a buyer's market with some grooms offering as little as $100 cash for a bride.

The legal age of marriage in Jordan is 18 but some religious clerics will marry underage girls for a small fee. This puts the girls at even greater risk for exploitation because some of Um Majed's clients want a temporary union lasting a few weeks or months after which the girl is returned to her parents.

In other words, it is religiously sanctioned prostitution. "One of my brides has been married three, four times," Um Majed says. "She is 15." ...

Um Majed raises a cynical eyebrow at this innocent archetype as she strikes a match and lights a cigarette. She became a matchmaker when she approached a local Islamist charity for food and the manager asked if she "knew any pretty girls."

"I have 10 families looking for grooms," she says. "Their girls are between 12 and 21. The grooms are always in their 40s, 50s, or 70s. They want beautiful girls, the younger the better."

She pauses and takes a drag of the cigarette. "The Saudis usually ask for 12-year-olds."

As she sees it, life has become about exploiting or being exploited. "I have to feed my children," she says.

SHAKESPEARE :FAR FROM AN HONORABLE MAN [NEW STUDY]!
"Forget Shakespeare in love.The next film could be Shakespeare in jail.Turns out the bard of Avon was something of a bounder,as bad as any of our own black marketeers ,hoarders and tax evaders whom we love to hate-and envy.Three academics at the university of Aberystwyth have welshed on the most celebrated man of English literature . Looking into his 'other life'as a businessman and owner of cultivable and pasture land,they ploughed through incriminating court records. They have dug up quite a dung heap.
Their research reveals that Shakespeare was repeatedly hauled up for illegally stockpiling food when much of Europe reeled under famine.The merchant of Avon acquired on local produce such as corn,grain and hay and rapaciously extracted more than measure for measure from those who did not pay up in full and in time. He himself faced imprisonment for evading taxes,though,for sooth,he claimed the borough was making Much Ado about nothing.Luckily for him,all is well that ends well. Not only did he manage to stay out,but thanks to his legal and illegal activities,he was able to retire in 1613 as the largest property owner in Stratford upon Avon.Pity the real estate boom was yet to arrive,else Shakespeare will might have bequeathed a richer legacy."

HOW JEWELS ORIGINATED?

Sutji, once narrated the following tale to the assembled sages which sheds light on the origin of jewels and other precious stones -

' During ancient times there lived a mighty demon named Bala. Although he had defeated the deities and driven them out from the heaven, yet he had assured them that he would extend fullest cooperation and support in any yagya performed by deities in future. All the deities planned to perform a 'Yagya' in order to regain their lost kingdom. They made all the necessary preparations for the Yagya but were unable to find a person who could offer himself as a 'sacrificial being'- a ritual without which any yagya is incomplete.'

'Seeing no other option, the worried deities took refuge of 'Balasur' and requested him to offer himself for sacrifice so that the yagya could be accomplished without any hitch. Balasur was bound by his promise so he agreed. This way, the deities were able to accomplish their yagya. But, a strange event coincided with the death of Balasur, which surprised even the deities. The virtuous deed of offering himself as a sacrificial being in the yagya ceremony had amazingly transformed Balasur's corpse into jewels. Deities tried to carry the 'Jewel-body' through the aerial route towards a safer place, but it was fragmented into countless pieces due to the impact of ferocious speed of the wind it had to negotiate. These pieces scattered all over the places- ocean, rivers, Mountains, Forests, etc. In course of time these places got transformed into countless mines of jewels and precious stones such as Vajra (diamond), Muktamani, Indraneel, Sphatik, Prawal, Pushparag and many more.

ANCIENT "WISDOM OF OBSTETRICS ";UNMATCHED EVEN IN 21ST CENTURY;
FIRST "TEST TUBE "BABY OF THE WORLD !
*Once Bharadwaj muni went to take bath in Ganga as part of a ritual and there he laid eyes on the apsara Ghritachi, The apsara was coming out of the river after bath and her attire disoriented. Bharadwaj muni had a burning desire which he overcame but his vital fluid came out. He took this in a vessel (Droona = vessel) and out of which cameDronacharya (This accounts for the world’s first test tube baby, In vitro fertilization and Earliest incubator J). Dronacharya grew up at his father’s place learning all the martial arts, military arts and religion along with the Drupada, son of Panchala king.
[Mahabharta;sambav parv;chapter 129,verse 33-38].
*Again in the epic of Mahabharta,it has been stated that Kripi was the wife of Dronacharya and mother of Ashvthama.Kripi was the twin sister of Kripa.There is a interesting mythological story related to the birth of Kripa and Kripi.Accordingly Indra was frightened with sage Shardvan as he was a great archer with wonderful expertise in the all types of warfare.Indra directed one Apsara Janapadi to tempt Shardvan.Shardvan could not control his carnal desire and his semen fell on weeds.From there two children were born to the sage in a tuft of grass.Shardvan upset with himself left his hermitage to jungle for reparation. King Santanu found the twin children and brought them up out of campassion and named them Kripi and Kripa.
*Ashvthama was  son of of Dronacarya and Kripi.As soon as he was born,he cried and made a sound similar  to Ushirvas [Horse];hence was named Ashvthama.
