The Tenth Book (or Skandha or Canto, depending on which version you read) has the most fantastic Krishna tales and I would imagine this book is also the most loved!

In this very popular Skandha X, Chapter 90 is 'The Song of Queens: Resume if Krishna’s Sports':

5. Lord Krishna who was the sole beloved consort of 16,000 queens, assume

d as many various attractive forms as he had queens and severally sported with them in their separate resplendent palaces of surpassing affluence.
6. The swimming pool in each of these mansions was full of crystal clear water …
7. Sri Krishna … entered the waters of those (swimming) tanks and sported freely. His bosom (lit. body) was smeared with the saffron paste applied to the breasts of his queens as they embraced him (during the water sports).
8. His glory was sung by Gandharvas … gleefully playing on musical instruments …
9. Sri Krishna was being drenched with jets of waters discharged through syringes by his consorts who were laughing all the while. He, in return, profusely sprinkled water on them …
10. Their thighs and breasts became prominent to view through their wet Saris (garments) … Due to a thrill of passionate desire (at the touch of Krishna’s person) their countenances beamed with great pleasure and they appeared brilliant and beautiful.

Today, after the Punjab state assembly made an obituary reference to cows, allegedly killed at a bone crushing factory, assembly staff are confused over whom to send the formal condolence message.

As per practice, condolence resolutions ad
opted in the Assembly are normally sent to the relatives of all those died. The House was taken by surprise on the opening day of the session when immediately after Speaker Charanjit Singh had read out the names of 14 eminent people, the chief minister got up from his seat and suggested that obituary references should also be paid to cows slaughtered at Joga village and declared that a memorial would be set up for the slaughtered cows, which is likely to cost 2,00,00,000 rupees of tax payers money.

This in a state which is notorious for aborting female children and also has one of the lowest girl-boy ratio at 846/1000. As per Pragati foundation, abortion rates are increasing in almost 80% of the India states, mainly in Punjab and Haryana. Comparatively, states where beef is eaten have shown much more humane tendency to the female child. The highest child sex ratio is in Mizoram (971 females against 1000 males) and Meghalaya (970). For some Indians, cow worship is more important than protecting fellow female citizens.

OTHER RELIGIONS UNDER ISLAM !

Naik was once asked by a non-Muslim on his TV show, "Why are non-Muslims not allowed to propagate their religion or construct their places of worship in Islamic nations, while Muslims expect the same right to be given to them in non-Muslim majority countries?"

Naik agrees that Islam does not allow a Non-Muslim to propagate or construct his places of worship in an I

slamic country. The furthest that a non-Muslim can go is to practice his religion in the secrecy and privacy of his home. Naik fails to understand what "equal rights" are. He supports Muslims being given the same rights by the Kaffirs that the Muslims should not give to the Kaffirs.

Naik has illogically brought in the analogy of a school principal hiring a mathematics teacher and says, "Would a principal hire a teacher who says that 2+2 = 3?" He goes on to say, "Of course the principal would not hire that teacher because that teacher does not have the right math knowledge. Similarly, Muslims will not allow other religions because they are not right." The problem here is that "2+2=4" is a universal math law by definition. On the other hand, Islam is not a universal law. Muslims believe in Islam just like other people believe in their own respective religions.
He continues on, "In the Quran 3:85, it says that Islam is the only true religion." Again, he makes the mistake that all people of the world take the Qur'an as the truth.
Naik has not given any proof for why Islam is the universal truth nor for why other religions are false.
Naik says, "In matters of religion, we Muslims are confirmed true, while the non-Muslims are not. If they were confirmed, why would they follow the wrong religion?" This is nothing but illogical drivel. Islam becomes true for Muslims only because they choose to believe in it. It is not in any way "more confirmed" than other religions.
According to Naik, Muslims are 100% sure that Islam is the right religion. However, he believes that other people are not sure of their religion. The proof offered by him for this is that "these non-Muslims follow their respective false religions." Any person with some intellect can see through the drivel Naik speaks.
Has not Naik indirectly mocked and laughed at the non-Muslims? On the one hand, he "appreciates" that non-Muslims give Muslims the right to propagate Islam and build mosques in their country. On the other, he says that Muslims should never give these same rights to the non-Muslims.
Dr. Naik is “begging the question” of “truth”. It is not decided universally according to the scientific method that Islam is “God’s religion”. That is a claim that Dr. Naik has merely claimed, but not proved. He "begs" us to accept this as proven so he may win the argument. While 2 + 2 = 4 IS established by the science of mathematics, the supremacy of Islam is a religious opinion and cannot thus be supported by science. All school principals are accredited by a board of education elected by the parents and voters of the school district. No school principal in the world is appointed directly by God. All are answerable, not to God, but to those to whom they owe their job. That is an additional fallacy on the part of Dr. Naik. Scientific truth is different from religious truth. The scientific method is a very rigorous set of standards used to eliminate false conclusions. Dr. Naik is a heedless simplifier arguing (without proof) that the present-day Muslim dictatorships (such as Saudi Arabia and Taliban areas...run by despotic tyrants) are obviously the chosen representatives of Allah and run their countries according to Allah’s rules in a supremacist manner. This is his subjective opinion, but it cannot be supported by science or mathematics any more than I can prove strawberry to be superior to chocolate. Dr. Naik is intolerant of all other opinions and refuses to recognize that more than 80% of humans believe Islam to be a false, obscurantist, supremacist cult which has no right whatsoever to overrule the Universal Declaration of Human Rights...which proclaims freedom of thought and of religion. It is not proved either that Dr. Naik or his favorite dictators are God’s appointed “school masters” over the world. That would merely be his own opinion of himself. He is begging the question of Islam’s supremacy in order to justify the denial of equality, freedom of religion and other human rights to anyone who disagrees with him.

POST DEATH PERSONIFICATION OF CASTE PREJUDICE AND CLASS INTERESTS OF BRAHMANS !
When someone dies, the dead body is to be bathed and garlanded. The dead body must always be burnt outside the village. For a brahmana the shraddha ceremony takes place after ten days, for a kshatriya after twelve days, for a vaishya after fifteen days and for a sh

udra after a month. At a funeral ceremony an odd number of brahmanas must be fed. If ordinary food is given to brahmanas at a funeral, the ancestors remain satisfied for a month. But they are satisfied for two months if fish is given, for three months if rabbit is given. For four months in the case of the meat of birds, for five months with pork, for six months with mutton, for seven months with venison, for eight months if a special sort of deer meat is given, for nine months with gayal meat, for ten months with lamb, for eleven months with beef, and forever with the meat of a vardhinasa bird. The best place to perform a shraddha is Gaya.

APPEASEMENT OF PITRAS [ANCESTORS] WITH THE OFFERINGS OF NON VEGETARIAN DIET !

Dharmaraj Yudhishthira and Pitamah Bhishma discussion about what food one should offer to Pitras (ancestors) during the Shraddha (ceremony of dead) to keep them satisfied Paragraph reads as follows :-

"Yudhishthir said, "0 thou of great

puissance, tell me what that object is which, if dedicated to the pitras (dead ancestors), become inexhaustible! What Havi, again, (if offered) lasts for all time? What, indeed, is that which (if presented) becomes eternal?”

"Bhisma said, Listen to me, 0 Yudhishthira, what those Havis are which persons conversant with the rituals of the Shraddha (the ceremony of dead) regard as suitable in view of Shraddha and what the fruits are that attach to each. With sesame seeds and rice and barley and Masha and water and roots and fruits, if given at Shraddhas, the pitris, 0 king, remain gratified for the period of a month. With fishes offered at Shraddha, the pitras remain gratified for a period of two months. With the muflon they remain gratified for three months and with the hare for four months, with the flesh of the goat for five months, with the bacon (meat of pig) for six months, and with the flesh of birds for seven. With venison obtained from those deer that are called Prishata, they remain gratified for eight months, and with that obtained form the Ruru for nine months, and with the meat of Gavaya for ten months. With the meat of the buffalo their gratification lasts for eleven months. With beef presented at the Shraddha, their gratification, it is said, lasts for a full year. Payesa mixed with ghee is as much acceptable to the pitras as beef. With the meat of Vadhrinasa (a large bull) the gratification of pitras lasts for twelve years. The flesh of rhinoceros, offered to the pitras on anniversaries of the lunar days on which they died, becomes inexhaustible. The potherb called Kalaska, the petals of Kanchana flower, and meat of (red) goat also, thus offered, prove inexhaustible

So but natural if you want to keep your ancestors satisfied forever, you should serve them the meat of red goat.

DENIGRATION OF WOMEN IN HINDU SCRIPTURES !
In Hinduism fate of women has been hanging in between Durga to Devdasi,closer to Devdasi than to Durga.For a long time,because of high valuation placed on the idea of sanyasa in Hinduism,women were despised as source of worldliness. They were regarded as the "torch lighting the way to hell."They were considered to be a bad influence on men,a positive hind

rance in the meaningful development of their personality. Kabir asked men to shun the company of women,saying-"Kabira tin ki kya ghat jo nit nari kay sang".She was looked down upon as a 'potential temptress'.Tulsidas,author of Ramcharitmanas,placed women at par with animal,by saying-"dhol,ganwar,sudr,pasu,

nari-sakal tadana kay adhikari."Yoghi Gorakh Nath has described women as "baghni" a she wolf who robbed men of their youthful vigor. Both Krishna and Shankracharya have described women as "paap yoniya"[product of sin and immorality] and "narak dwar"[door to hell] respectively.
Basically, out present attitude towards women streams from our religious scriptures which refer to women as contempt. Our oldest book are the 'Vedas' which contain highly objectionable and condemnable passages concerning women. Taking cue from the 'Vedas' authors of subsequent religious scriptures referred to women in more contemptuous form. 'Sati pratha' (custom of burning the widow with the body of her husband), 'Dasi Pratha' (keeping the slave girls), 'Niyog Pratha' (ancient Aryan custom of childless widow or women having sexual intercourse with a man other than husband to beget child), were among cruel customs responsible for the plight of the women.


Naturally, seeking shelter under such religious sanctions, unscrupulous women disgraced women to the maximum possible extent and made them means of satisfying their lust. No one wanted a daughter. As a result; female infant came to be considered unwanted. No one wanted a daughter. Everyone was interested in having a son. The birth of the son was celebrated, but the birth of the daughter plunged family into gloom. This attitude still persists, even though certain other customs have undergone changes.

'Rig Veda' itself says that a women should beget sons. The newly married wife is blessed so that she could have 10 sons. So much so, that for begetting a son, 'Vedas' prescribe a special ritual
called 'Punsawan sanskar' (a ceremony performed during third month of pregnancy). During the ceremony it is prayed:

"Almighty God, you have created this womb. Women may be born somewhere else but sons should be born from this womb" - Atharva Ved 6/11/3

"O Husband protect the son to be born. Do not make him a women" - Atharva Ved 2/3/23

In 'Shatpath Puran (shatpath Brahman)' a sonless women has been termed as unfortunate.

'Rig Veda' censures women by saying:
"Lord Indra himself has said that women has very little intelligence. She cannot be taught" - Rig Ved 8/33/17

At another placein Rig Veda it is written:
"There cannot be any friendship with a women. Her heart is more cruel than heyna" - Rig Ved 10/95/15.

'Yajur Ved (Taitriya Sanhita)'m- "Women code says that the women are without energy. They should not get a share in property. Even to the wicked they speak in feeble manner" - Yajur Ved 6/5/8/2

Shatpath Puran, preachings of the 'Yajur Veda' clubs women, 'shudras'(untouchables), doga, crows together and says falsehood, sin and gloom remain integrated in them. (14/1/1/31)

In 'Aiterey Puran', preaching of the 'Rig Veda' in harsih chandra -Narad dialogue, Narad says: "The daughter causes pain"

INFATUATION WITH SOMA PLANT AND ITS SUPPOSED BLISSFUL EFFECT LEADING TO DIRECT LINK WITH THE 'GOD'!
The Vedas are infatuated with the Soma plant and its juice.The 9th chapter out of the total 10 chapters of the Rig Veda,is fully devoted to intoxicating Soma plant.Scholars are of the view that Cannabis Sativa [Bhangh] was the Soma of the Vedas. Whatever may be the reality,it 

is beyond any controversy that Cannabis Sativa is regarded as holy plant in the Hindu religious camps.The leaves of the plant are offered to 'god' Shiva in temples and that is regarded as a very pious act.Hindu saints[sadhus] of almost every shade,are fond of drinking the intoxicating juice of the plant and whatever they utter in that intoxicated state,is regarded as the utterance having a blissful effect as in that stage the Sadhu is understood to have direct link with the 'god'. If a Sadhu gives a cup or more of the juice of Cannabis Sativa as prasadum[pious gift],a religious Hindu cannot refuse to accept that.
